Academy for Creating Enterprise Announces the Hiring of Joey Hansen as Chief Development Officer.
Lehi, Ut. (February 2021): The Academy for Creating Enterprise today announced the hiring of Joey Hansen as Chief Development Officer. Joey brings many years of development and fundraising experience in the non-profit sector.

The Academy has seen unprecedented demand for our training and support programs in the countries we serve. I am confident Joey will help to ensure the Academy has the financial support necessary to continue our mission throughout the world," said Robert Heyn, Academy CEO.

Prior to his joining the Academy, Hansen served as Principal Gift Officer at Intermountain Healthcare. He has also served as Chief Development Officer for McKay-Dee Hospital and Utah Valley Hospital. He has directed capital campaigns to help build and equip new Intermountain hospitals in both Ogden and Provo.
Hansen was also previously employed by The Greenwood Company, a national fund-raising consulting firm headquartered in San Francisco, California, as a Senior Consultant. He has directed multiple capital campaigns for health systems across the Western United States.
Hansen holds a Master of Public Administration Degree (M.P.A.) from The University of Utah and a B.S. Degree from Utah State University. He has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 1999, the national preeminent professional certification for fund raising executives.
He has taught non-profit management, fundraising, public relations, and marketing at Brigham Young University, Weber State University and the University of Phoenix. He has a variety of professional experiences in sales, marketing, and advertising in the fields of health care, radio, and newspaper.
Hansen is married to the former Vicki Call of Afton, Wyoming. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. To relax, Joey enjoys all forms of technology, running, golf, as well as music (guitar and saxophone) performing and recording.
His service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints includes: Stake Young Men President, Stake Clerk, Elder's Quorum President, High Priest Group Leader, Bishopric Counselor, Ward Exec. Secretary/Stake Tech Clerk.
