The Academy for Creating Enterprise ignites the entrepreneurial mindset in faith-driven people through training and support to create more abundant lives. In turn, Academy members implement the training they receive to grow a business and develop the financial freedom to spend time on the things that matter most.

25 Years of the Academy

In 1999, the Academy for Creating Enterprise was established to teach individuals how to start and grow their own businesses in locales where there were limited opportunities to work good jobs. Acknowledging the plight of the men and women they had grown to love during a three-year service mission in the Philippines, Bette and Stephen Gibson returned to the country and began a school teaching entrepreneurship in a practical and faith-based manner.

Through generous donations, team members, and the efforts of thousands of volunteers, the Academy for Creating Enterprise has grown from a school of 30 students in the Philippines to an international program of over 133,000 members. The Academy teaches individuals through training and ongoing peer-to-peer mentorship that no matter their starting place, they can build a business that will improve their personal and financial circumstances.
