Benjamin Starts Small with Future Big Business Goals

Name of Nominee’s Business: Casven IT Solutions

Nature of Business: Provides all forms IT solutions

Location: Nigeria

In 2019, Benjamin established Casven IT Solutions but lacked initial business know-how. Inspired by Academy training and a trading exercise with a paperclip, he embraced the rule of thumb “Start Small, Think Big.”

Being in the education sector for quite some time, Benjamin realized that setting examination questions was one of the greatest challenges for most schools in the community in which he lives. Starting with one school of 400 students, he started creating examination questions and printing them out with marking schemes and answer booklets.

Recently, he acquired a small office space near a school, equipping it with a computer and printer to kickstart his income-generating activity.

His ultimate goal is to become the primary examination service provider in his community. Looking at the future, Benjamin aims to expand his services by including customized branding, T-shirt printing, photocopying, and passport photos.

With no immediate competitors nearby, he aims to capitalize on this advantage and solidify his presence in the market. Benjamin diligently maintains separate business accounts and records expenses, meticulously transitioning to digital records for better organization. While not yet highly profitable, he remains committed to breaking even and mastering the market dynamics.
