Women of the Academy: Yadira Alvarez Amarillas

Yadira is a wife and mother of 2 children who works to provide temporally and spiritually for her family through her small business. She loves the vision of the Academy and hopes to pass that vision on to her posterity.

Business Description: Yadira has built a shoes and sandals business.

In her own words:

“I decided to join the Academy because I am pleased that the objective is to help people achieve self-reliance, improve our quality of life, and help others. I felt very strongly about joining. I was sure I was in the right place at the right time. In my family and forefathers, we had always held a vision to improve in this: in business. I want to pass my vision for self-reliance on to help my posterity improve their spiritual and temporal life. Participating in the Academy helps me achieve self-reliance through entrepreneurship and helping others.”
