After Mabel Chikordi Moses returned from her mission, she needed a way to support herself. With a passion for fashion design and a willingness to learn, she participated in the Self-Reliance PEF training, which helped her discover new opportunities for growth and enhance her skills.

After her training, she first focused on following through on her self-reliance plan. She then set her sights on owning her own clothing/fashion shop. However, as a newcomer in the industry, she faced several challenges.

When she learned of the Academy and the business coaching it offered to entrepreneurs, she saw it as a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts and gain valuable insights. After joining the Academy, she started applying the principles taught in her chapter meetings. The discussions, training, and mentorship shared during those meetings boosted her determination to succeed and become a better entrepreneur.

“I’m thrilled to have joined the Academy as it has made a significant difference in my journey,” says Mabel.

With the income she has gained from designing clothes for others, she can now care for herself and her family. This income has allowed her to save and upgrade from a small shop to a bigger one. With her success, she now has additional time and resources to dedicate time and resources to her calling in the Church.

“I’m so grateful for these blessings and excited to see what the future holds,” she says.
